SEO (Search Engine Optimization)  literally means search engine optimization , ie it is a method for improving the positioning of content in Internet search . When I say  blog optimization , I mean the optimization of texts , pages and photos on a blog.           

There are 2 types of SEO optimization: " On page " and " Off page ".   

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT FOR YOUR BLOG TO BE WELL OPTIMIZED?

The benefits of SEO optimization  are clear: the better your text is optimized, the  easier  it will be for people to find it on Google. The easier it is to find it on Google, the more visits to the blog , and the more people will read your content. Optimization is a must for all earning blogs . Even if the purpose of your texts is not profit , business or cooperation with brands , you would certainly want more people to read what you advise them to do .            

If you are continuously working on optimizing your blog, it will pay off many times over . People with certain interests that you also write about will find your blog easier. It will happen less often that someone gets lost , and is not interested in your content . All in all, this is a technique that can help your blog a lot, if you invest only a few minutes per text.          

HOW TO OPTIMIZE A BLOG?

Before any optimization, it is important to determine which words and terms you want your readers to find you through. These will be your "keywords" , and you will optimize the blog for them. What it means? This means that if, for example , you have a blog about  buying and  selling , you will want someone to type in Google " buy and sell " to get to your blog. Therefore, you should bear in mind your key words when writing any text. They will be different for almost every text, depending on what you are writing about.          

Whether you have text on Blogger , WordPress , or some other platform , there are ways to optimize your texts. Of course, it will be much easier for you if you work on WordPress , because there are purpose- built tools (plugins) for this purpose.         

There  are  several guidelines for optimizing blogs on other platforms :   

• keywords should be in the title, 
• keywords should be found in the first paragraph,  
• tag keywords , 
• keywords should be found in photo descriptions, 
• the  text  link should contain keywords (you can change the link before posting).

Note:  do not put words at random , but naturally form everything around them, where you would otherwise use them.
